Roof systems specified to your wind code

Metal, tile and asphalt roofing systems rated for hurricane zones, plus underlayment and accessories.

Roofing, exported

Roofing is the line where destination code drives everything. Metal panel systems, concrete and clay tile, architectural asphalt shingles, solar roofing and the underlayment, felt, flashing and fastener schedules that go with them — specified for high-wind and hurricane exposure rather than to a mainland-average spec.

Owens Corning shingle systems, standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal, and tile from Florida and Gulf manufacturers all ship on this line. Because we sell into the same storm belt we buy in, uplift ratings, corrosion class and fastener pattern get confirmed against your local requirement before anything is purchased.

A roof only works as a complete system, so we ship it as one: panels or tile, underlayment, ridge and hip accessories, flashing and the correct fasteners in one consolidated load. Metal panels are crated full-length and edge-protected; tile ships banded on heavy pallets with breakage allowance included in the count.

Roofing is also the line where a shortage hurts most, because a partially delivered roof is an open building. We over-order fasteners and accessories deliberately, count tile and panel against the packing list before anything is loaded, and ship the complete system in one container so the crew is never standing on a deck waiting for a flashing detail to arrive on the next vessel.

Roofing — frequent questions

Send the requirement — uplift rating, exposure category and fastener schedule — and we specify a system that meets it. We buy in the same storm belt we ship to.

The whole system: covering, underlayment, flashing, ridge and hip accessories and the correct fasteners, in one consolidated load.

Both work. Metal is lighter and faster to install with a longer service life; tile is heavier, needs structural capacity, and holds up better against UV and salt over decades. We will price both.
